Possibly a celebration that happened in August, 1919. I have a picture the caption of which states that the celebrations were upon the occasion of a visit by General Gouraud in August, 1919. This would've been about the time that he was preparing to relenquish command of the French Army of Occupation to take up a post in the middle east (overseeing the creation of Lebanon and the occupation of Syria).
